Get Seen: College Soccer ID Camps are an excellent opportunity for high school players to be seen by collegiate coaches looking for players who might fit their program. North Atlantic ID Camps have Division 1, 2, and 3 soccer coaches from the northeastern region of the United States, and we limit the number of players so that each player gets sufficient exposure to the attending coaches.
Not every player is right for every program. Coaches are often looking for players who play a specific position, or who play a specific style of soccer. The more coaches who see a player, the more likely it is that one or more matches will be made.
Meet Coaches: ID camps also offer players a chance to meet coaches, hear about programs that may not have been on their radar, and sometimes learn about the style of play in which coaches are interested.
If a coach at our camp approaches you, don’t be afraid to ask a coach about their program. What kind of school is it? What athletic conference do they compete in? What type of player and student are they looking for?
Train and Compete: North Atlantic ID Camps provide training and scrimmage play. Players will benefit from running drills with a collegiate coach, and playing in a competitive setting with other aspiring players. Coaches observe how players warm-up, train, perform technically and tactically, listen to instructions, and handle the pressure of competition. Dedicated keeper training sessions will also be provided by one of our collegiate goalkeeper coaches.
Learn about the Process: A short classroom session at the end of each ID session provides players and parents with an opportunity to learn about the recruitment process from collegiate coaches, become aware of important dates and deadlines, and to ask questions about recruitment, college admissions, and the life of a collegiate student-athlete.
